Under the “Capacity Development Action” project by FORUS and co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), MACOSS has used this opportunity to revisit its communication strategies and designed a better plan of action to achieve its core organizational objectives. The setting up of a Resource Center at the MACOSS Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) has gave way to some workshops held under the core objective of MACOSS that is, “Communication”.
This project has also led to an implementation of a digital ecosystem for better networking, awareness campaigns, policy development, advocacy and even impartation of information related to MACOSS and its stakeholders. An official website (www.macoss.mu) and presence on social media (FaceBook, Instagram and YouTube) under the acronym “MACOSS MAURITIUS”, the Mauritius Council of Social Service is progressively promulgating its work as the Council and National Platform of NGOS.
