FEMNET: Empowering Women

Under the ‘Strengthening Women’s Movement for Greater Impact Project”, MACOSS held a workshop reinforcing capacity of member organization on Project Management, Resource Mobilization and Advocacy. The target audience comprised of Staff, Committee Members and Representatives of NGOs.

24 FEBRUARY 2021: The Project Management session was mediated by the Programme Manager and Officers of the National Social Inclusion Foundation (NSIF). The objective of the program was to share knowledge on project cycle management, to have an overview of the foundation, on the new funding framework of NCIF- regarding funding and financing of projects.

25 FEBRUARY 2021:The Resource Mobilization session was held by the Training Manager of the Civil Service College with aim to develop strategies for resource management individually and collectively so that they can offer better service.

26 FEBRUARY 2021: ‘Advocacy’ Programme was facilitated by the Program Officer of MACOSS. The objectives was to highlight the importance of advocacy in social work and how it works in practice:

Expressing her views about the Programme, Mrs. Priscilla Ravaton-Programme Manager at the National Social Inclusion Foundation (NSIF) said that:
‘We did a workshop on project cycle management and it was very instructive with the participation of the participant. And I hope that they have understood what the project management is and how NCIF works and how we can implement it’. In his key note address on 26 February 2021, The Chairman of MACOSS highlighted, ‘the content in which the project was launched targeting gender as a mainstreaming activity in social work’.
